Here are the Outlines:
THE HIGH PERFORMING TEAM
Themes: The essence of teamwork is more than structure, political savvy, or talented people. This
workshop probes teamwork's more mysterious fourth dimension, its psychological framework.
Outcomes: To deepen your understanding of effective team functioning, and give you the
opportunity to practice and integrate those ideas into your daily work routine.
TEAM WRECKING
Themes: Teams are tension filled. The fulfilling team experience is not necessarily one of serenity; it
is often one of active struggle with colleagues in pursuit of a common vision. This workshop is about
building the high performing team.
Outcomes: You will gain a clear understanding of how the complexities of human relationships --
particularly motivation and perception -- affect a team's ability to function well.
WRECKING RELATIONSHIPS
Themes: Relationships form the fundamental building blocks of teams and organizations. We
introduce and relate Carl Jung's concepts of projection, anima, and animus to our perceptions,
attitudes, values, and judgments.
Outcomes: You will learn how your unconscious feelings about others -- positive and negative -- are
crucial to success in relationships. You will become aware of powerful material hiding in your
unconscious so that you may examine that material consciously, and become more effective!
WRECKING TRUST
Themes: Trust is a basic building block in working relationships, and nurturing trust is a key
leadership skill.
Outcomes: You will deepen your understanding of the attitudes, values and beliefs that promote
trust. Practical feedback exercises will develop your trust-building skills in real life simulations.
THE POWER IN UNDERSTANDING VALUES
Themes: Values can both mend and tear the fabric of teams, and organizations. Often, values
separate you from other people, and separate just about everyone from effectiveness.
Outcomes: You will learn how to devalue the valueless, revalue the valuable, and begin to build a
new organizational culture. Using simulations, current situations, and case studies you will practice
putting such values into action.
CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING IN A TEAM SETTING
Themes: The basis of effective problem-solving and decision-making lies in our latent creativity.
Creativity is an integral part of the natural action of every human being.
Outcomes: You will learn how to apply your creativity in practical business and organizational
situations, and see problems in the light of fun and challenge. You will be more effective.
MAXIMIZING MEETINGS
Themes: We need to stop thinking of meetings as something to get over with so we can get back to
work. Meetings are work, not an interruption of work. Because meetings are work, we should stop
demeaning them and start making them meaningful.
Outcome: You will learn how to effectively redirect all that wasted energy into meetings that help
your organization thrive.
